Bihter was abandoned when she was young, but slowly found her place and learned to feel safe again.

She lived near a busy station, surrounded by people coming and going all day. Some young people would tease her, throw stones at her, and provoke her until she barked. Barking became her way of protecting herself. Other than that, she never caused anyone harm. Most days, she simply lay quietly in her spot.

Still, complaints were made, and Bihter was taken to a shelter. We got her out, and she returned to the place she knew as home.

Then the law changed, and the situation became much more dangerous. People in the area threatened her: either the shelter would take her, or they would kill her.

We couldn’t leave her behind. So we brought her to safety.

Her story is still missing one thing: a home where she will never be looked down on or treated as unwanted. A home where she will be deeply loved, feel safe, and finally have the chance to bloom. 🌼
